Lifted 2000 Subaru Impreza with Rally Innovations Ultimate Light Bar Snorkel and Limb Riser with Yellow Lamin X over Projector Light

This is the beginning of a life-project. After purchasing my first Subaru in 2007, a 1999 Impreza OBS, and taking it through many forms over the 13 years of ownership (diy-turbo, autoX, drifting/RWD conversion, lifted/bed in the back adventure wagon)– I decided I wanted a clean slate, and a decent body to build my vision upon. I’ve been in the wagon game for so long, that the profile of a sedan really became even more attractive to me. I’ve owned multiple BRATs and multiple Legacys over the years, in addition to my OBS, so I know my way around these vehicles decently well.

This RS came into my life about a week or two after seriously deciding that I was ready for another vehicle to enter my stable of 5 vehicles (not counting motorcycles). It was already tastefully modified, and the color combo was ideal. I drove three hours to check it out and left the previous owner’s home with keys in hand. My lady, our pup, and I used it as an excuse to snag a hotel room and celebrate by inhaling pizza.

While the vehicle was more or less modified perfectly when it came to JDM replication when I snagged it– I can’t leave anything alone and it didn’t feel right without getting my hands dirty and sparing some blood, sweat, and tears. I’ll be adding more to this as time goes on, but this is the basic story behind my new Safari-inspired Lifted Subaru Impreza Off Road Build.
